  1. Read from the companies themselves

Every hour we read the job boards companies publish on Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable and Recruitee, careers sites such as Microsoft's and Netflix's, and two job sites whose terms allow it.

  2. Kept to tech roles

Sales, marketing and finance roles are left out. Each job is tagged with its skills, level and work type, and its pay and visa sponsorship when the posting states them.

  3. Closed when the company closes it

A job that leaves its company's board is marked closed the next time the board is read, usually within hours, and a role posted again is marked as a repost.

Questions

Where do the jobs come from?

From the job boards companies publish themselves, the pages where a company lists its own openings, read every hour, and from two job sites whose terms allow their listings to be shown elsewhere.

Every job links to the company's own page, or that site's, to apply. CareerHolo never takes applications itself.

How up to date is it, and how do you know a job has closed?

The boards are read again every hour, and every posting is checked again after it is listed. When a company takes a posting down, it is marked closed and leaves the search. If you saved it, your saved list says so.

Is my resume uploaded anywhere?

No. When you use Match your resume, the PDF or Word file is read in your browser and never leaves your device. Only what is found in it, your skills, level and where you want to work, is sent to find matching jobs, and that is not stored or logged, unless you ask for daily matches: then only that list is saved, never the file.

Why only tech roles?

CareerHolo is for people looking for tech work: software, data, product, design, IT, security and hardware engineering. Sales, marketing, finance and operations roles at the same companies are left out, so you do not have to scroll past them. Sales engineers and technical recruiters stay, as they work in engineering teams.

Is it free? Do I need an account?

It is free. Searching, the salary pages, visa sponsorship and resume matching need no account.
