Job Introduction

Leads the development of complex software features and contributes to architectural decisions across Tekion’s platforms. Mentors junior engineers, promotes engineering best practices, and drives technical excellence in both design and implementation. ​

Key Role & Responsibilities

  • ​Designs and builds scalable, high-performance systems and services to support business growth and technical evolution.
  • ​Leads feature development from concept to deployment, ensuring quality, performance, and maintainability.
  • ​Collaborates with architects and senior engineers to influence system design and technical strategy.
  • Mentors junior engineers and fosters a culture of continuous learning and code quality.
  • Conducts code reviews, sets engineering standards, and drives adoption of best practices across the team.
  • Identifies bottlenecks and proactively resolves technical challenges in production and development environments. ​

Basic Qualifications

  • ​5–7 years of experience in software engineering
  • ​Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • ​Expertise in JAVA modern programming languages
  • AI tool usage, how effectively and quickly the candidate is able to code using AI
  • Use AI to generate HLD and LLD documents. Get it reviewed by the AI, evaluate whether the suggestion given by the AI tool is right. Also, use AI to code some of the key components
  • ​Strong understanding of distributed systems, cloud-native services, and performance optimization
  • ​Experience with microservices, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • ​Excellent problem-solving, mentorship, and communication skills
  • ​Proven track record of delivering production-grade software and improving team effectiveness
