👨‍🔬 About the role

As the Senior AI Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the AI strategy and architecture of our cutting-edge fintech compliance platform..

In this role, you’ll design and deploy scalable machine learning models, oversee model governance and explainability, and work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate AI seamlessly into our platform. You’ll also set technical direction, mentor a growing AI team, and ensure our AI solutions meet the highest industry standards for accuracy, fairness, and compliance.

👨‍🔬 In this role you will

• Design and implement our AI features - we have a lot of product ahead of us and an immense amount of features to implement…
• Help design AI Strategy & Development - Define and drive the AI roadmap for our compliance platform
• Ensure Model Explainability & Compliance - Develop transparent and interpretable AI solutions that meet regulatory standards
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally - Work with engineers, data scientists, lawyers ad compliance experts to integrate AI into the platform
• Optimize AI Performance - Improve model accuracy, efficiency, and scalability in a high-stakes financial environment
• Stay Ahead of AI Trends - Research and implement the latest advancements in AI
• Mentor & Guide the Team - Be the lead and mentor a growing AI team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence
• Drive AI Governance & Ethics - Establish best practices for bias mitigation, model validation, and responsible AI use

📖 Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
• 3 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 2 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting
• Experience implementing, deploying, and maintaining machine learning models and pipelines in production environments
• Familiarity with AI agent architectures, large language models (LLMs), and agenty orchestration systems (e.g., LangChain, AutoGen)
• Self-driven, highly motivated, high agency, leadership!

📖 Preferred qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field
• 4 years of experience with performance, large scale systems data analysis, visualization tools, and/or debugging
• 4 years of experience with machine learning algorithms and tools, artificial intelligence, deep learning or natural language processing
• Experience building and scaling ML pipelines on cloud infrastructure
• Proficiency in code and system health, diagnosis and resolution, and software test engineering
• 2 years of experience with LLMs and training
