Job Title: Plumbing Engineer

Job Description: Velocity Architecture and Engineering DPC, a company of BRAVO Group, is seeking a Plumbing Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team supporting vertical buildings projects across the New York City area, with a strong emphasis on public sector work. This individual will support project teams in the development of plumbing system designs, from initial concept through construction administration. This role is suited for a candidate with two-three years of experience in a consulting engineering environment/building systems design who is looking to continue developing technically and progress toward Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assess existing site conditions and prepare scope reports outlining findings and recommendations.
• Perform plumbing system design under the supervision of senior engineers for projects of moderate complexity.
• Develop system layouts, calculations, and detailed construction documents.
• Prepare engineering drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Prepare project specifications and contribute to bid packages.
• Collaborate with architects and other engineering disciplines across multi-trade projects.

Minimum Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in a consulting engineering environment with significant focus on plumbing design.
• Experience with building design in New York City is required; public sector experience is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD required, Revit experience is a plus.
• Preference will be given to candidates with an EIT certification who are motivated to obtain their PE.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering #LI-Onsite #ZR

Salary

$80,000—$100,000 USD
