About Us
Flying Bisons is a leading Strategic Design & Digital Consulting company based in Warsaw, with projects across Europe and the Middle East. Our mission is to help our clients Unleash Digital Potential™.
We work at scales where real impact happens: enterprise platforms, government services, and corporate ecosystems used by millions of people. Our projects include national workforce platforms (Qiwa, Ajeer), education ecosystems (Madares), major banks (Bank Pekao, Alinma), global telecoms (Ooredoo, Salam), and international brands (KFC, Hebe, NaTemat, Enel-Med).
Our uniqueness comes from going beyond design craft. As we wrote in our manifestos - Strategic Design - Manifest and Strategic Design - The Future of Design - design craft is only 10% of success. The other 90% - the Invisible 90% - is about navigating politics, aligning stakeholders, and protecting fragile visions until they reach reality.
That’s why we’re building the discipline of Strategic Design - and we want you to be part of it.
Role context
We're looking for a UX Researcher to work with us on client projects, on a B2B basis.
In this role, you will lead and support research initiatives across a variety of digital products and services, helping clients make informed product and business decisions through user-centered insights.
You will work closely with designers, strategists, developers, data analysts and stakeholders to identify user needs, validate solutions and shape exceptional customer experiences.
Scope of services
- Preparing and executing research processes, from mapping research problems to analyzing research materials.
- Creating reports and delivering key project insights to the team.
- Conducting research using techniques such as user testing, in-depth interviews, IDIs, occasionally focus group interviews, FGIs, tree testing and card sorting.
- Preparing and facilitating workshops with clients and internal teams.
- Synthesizing and communicating findings to inspire design and product decisions and create visibility across departments.
- Creating personas, user journey maps and blueprints as outputs of the research conducted.
- Collaborating with other researchers and with an interdisciplinary team, including designers, strategists, developers and data analysts.
What we are looking for
- Commercial experience as a UX Researcher working on digital products and services.
- Strong knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
- Deep understanding of the digital product development lifecycle.
- Ability to independently plan and execute research projects.
- Excellent communication, storytelling and presentation skills.
- Ability to navigate multiple stakeholder groups and influence others.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Fluency in Polish and professional proficiency in English.
- Knowledge and experience in working with AI.
Nice to have
- Experience working in consulting, agency or multi-project environments.
- Familiarity with tools such as Dovetail, TheyDo, Lookback, Figma and FigJam.
Cooperation terms
- B2B cooperation for independent contractors.
- Suggested commercial range: 10 000 to 12 000 PLN net + VAT per month, depending on experience, expertise, scope and availability.
- Remote cooperation.
- Cooperation in an Apple and Google Workspace-based environment.
- Access to selected project tools, systems and environments where required for project delivery, security or client compliance.
- For long-term B2B collaborators, there may be an option to purchase selected benefits, such as a MultiSport card or enel-med medical packages, on preferential group terms, subject to provider availability and applicable conditions.
- Possibility to cooperate with experienced specialists from strategy, design, research, product, analytics, technology and delivery areas.
- The cooperation is based on agreed project outcomes, delivery quality and clear communication.
