Founding Engineer

About the Role

Join an early-stage AI sales automation team building multimodal agents that communicate across voice, SMS, and email. You will own a core product or infrastructure domain end to end, work directly with customers, and help shape product decisions as the team grows.

What You'll Do

• Own a domain from architecture through daily production releases.
• Talk with customers, synthesize feedback, and make product decisions without relying on a dedicated product manager.
• Build and optimize agents across voice, SMS, and email, including low-latency voice experiences and persistent conversation state.
• Set quality practices for non-deterministic systems, including evaluations, prompt versioning, guardrails, and drift detection.
• Work across React and Next.js frontends, Node.js backends, and Python services.

What We're Looking For

• Three to eight years of full-stack engineering experience, with a track record of shipping zero-to-one products at startups, large technology companies, or as a founder.
• Strong production experience with TypeScript, Node.js, React, and Next.js, plus experience with Python services.
• Hands-on experience building production systems with LLM APIs or agent SDKs.
• Depth in at least one area such as voice or SMS agents, agent state and memory, evaluations and guardrails, or B2B2C and marketplace products.
• Experience with low-latency systems, customer discovery, and making product decisions independently.
• Strong computer science fundamentals; founder experience with demonstrated traction is also valued.
• Availability for occasional intense work periods during launches or major customer milestones.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation is $180,000 to $250,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.
