About the role

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Java & Microservices Developer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level applications using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Build, deploy, and manage RESTful APIs and microservices-based applications.
  • Develop scalable, reliable, and high-performance backend services.
  • Implement application security, authentication, authorization, and data validation.
  • Work with databases, including SQL and NoSQL, for efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • Integrate microservices with messaging platforms such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
  • Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
  • Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA teams, and DevOps engineers.
  • Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
  • Support application deployment, production troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.

Required Skills

  • Strong proficiency in Core Java, OOP concepts, Collections, Multithreading, and Exception Handling.
  • Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Framework.
  • Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture and distributed systems.
  • Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
  • Knowledge of Hibernate/JPA and database technologies such as Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
  • Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.
  • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is an advantage.
  • Understanding of design patterns, SOLID principles, and application security.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience with cloud-native application development.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as ELK, Grafana, or Prometheus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
