About the role
As the Product Manager for CleverSo at Arabic.AI, you will own the strategy, roadmap and backlog of our core localization platform, shaping how it evolves to serve our clients and the wider localization and AI-translation market. Working closely with Engineering, Design/UX and QA, you will translate client needs, market signals and business goals into clear platform priorities, deciding what becomes a reusable capability versus a client-specific customization. You will use AI tools to rapidly prototype and validate new features with stakeholders and clients before committing engineering effort, and lead the delivery team through refinement, planning and release with the final call on scope and trade-offs.
The role is accountable for product outcomes, defining and reporting on KPIs such as adoption, retention, revenue impact and platform health. You act as the face of CleverSo in front of clients, partners, leadership and investors, presenting the product vision and progress and contributing to investor and board materials, so that the platform grows as a commercially strong, scalable product.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Product Strategy & Roadmap
- Own the product strategy, roadmap and backlog for CleverSo, from vision through delivery.
- Decide what becomes a reusable platform capability vs. a client-specific customization.
- Track the localization and AI-translation market and competitors to inform positioning and roadmap bets.
Client, Investor & Stakeholder Engagement
- Present the product vision, roadmap and progress to investors, clients and leadership; contribute to investor and board materials.
- Work directly with key clients: lead discovery sessions and demos, and turn client needs into platform priorities.
Prototyping & Validation
- Use AI tools to rapidly build POCs and interactive prototypes of new features and user flows, and validate them with stakeholders and clients before committing engineering effort.
Delivery & Execution
- Lead the delivery team through refinement, planning and reviews; make the final call on scope and trade-offs.
- Partner with Engineering on technical direction, architecture trade-offs and release planning.
Performance & Reporting
- Define and own product KPIs (adoption, retention, revenue impact, platform health) and report on them to leadership.
Education, Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, Business, Translation or a related field.
- 4–6 years of experience in product management, owning strategy and roadmap for a live B2B software product.
- Proven background in the translation / localization industry; understands LSP and enterprise localization workflows (TEP, vendor management, QA, project handoffs).
- Hands-on experience with Translation Management Systems (e.g., XTM, Phrase, Smartling, memoQ, Trados), ideally on the product side, not only as a user.
- Working knowledge of CAT tool concepts: translation memory, termbases, file filters and MT integration.
- Proven, hands-on use of AI tools in product work: building working POCs and clickable prototypes (e.g., Claude, Cursor, Lovable, v0, Figma Make), drafting specs and analysis. Examples of past prototypes required.
- Track record of presenting to senior stakeholders, clients and investors with confidence.
- Strong commercial sense: able to connect roadmap decisions to revenue, retention and client value.
- Deep Agile delivery experience; proficient with Jira and Confluence (or equivalent).
- Solid technical understanding of APIs, integrations and data flows, enough to discuss trade-offs with engineers.
- Clear communicator who can push back on scope and say no with reasoning.
- Fluent in English and Arabic, both written and spoken.
Nice to Have:
- CSPO, PSPO or SAFe POPM certification.
- Experience with B2B / multi-client SaaS platforms, where client requests compete for the same roadmap.
- Experience supporting fundraising or investor due diligence.
- Familiarity with UX basics (wireframing in Figma).
Behavioral Competencies:

- Stakeholder & Investor Communication
- Influencing & Negotiation
- Commercial Acumen
- Decision Making & Prioritization
- Client Orientation
- Results Orientation
- Product Strategy & Roadmapping
- Localization Workflows & TMS / CAT Tools
