Samsung’s Taylor, Texas semiconductor fabrication facility represents one of the largest and most advanced manufacturing investments in the United States, backed by an initial $17 billion commitment to build a cutting-edge chip production hub. The site is designed to become a cornerstone of Samsung’s U.S. semiconductor strategy. As part of a long-term vision to expand U.S. chip production capacity, the Taylor facility positions top engineering talent at the center of a rapidly growing technology cluster with global impact.

- Support virtualization infrastructure – create, configure, and manage virtual machines (KVM/VMware) to meet application capacity and performance requirements.
- Monitor and maintain MIS, MOS, and NES systems – ensure continuous operation of application servers in the Austin and Taylor datacenters, responding to alerts and performing corrective actions.
- Participate in disaster-recovery planning and testing – assist in designing DR procedures, conduct scheduled fail-over drills, and verify recovery time and point objectives.
- Manage asset inventory and configuration records – keep accurate documentation of server hardware, software licenses, and configuration baselines in alignment with ITIL practices.
- Provide on-call support – be ready to respond to critical incidents affecting FAB production lines and facility systems, ensuring minimal downtime.
