Forward Deployed Product Manager

About the Role

Own the end-to-end customer lifecycle for AI voice agents, from deployment through ongoing optimization and expansion. You will connect customer needs with product development and help establish the operating playbook for this growing function.

What You'll Do

• Manage customer relationships from discovery and scoping through deployment, optimization, and expansion into new use cases.
• Present agent value to customer decision-makers, explain return on investment, and demonstrate business impact with data.
• Investigate agent behavior on individual calls, debug issues, customize conversation flows, and address compliance requirements.
• Partner with the product team to turn customer feedback and unmet needs into product capabilities.
• Develop playbooks and operating standards for the forward deployed product management function.

What We're Looking For

• At least 5 years of product management experience, including direct, customer-facing work; experience at a startup is required.
• Strong product judgment and technical depth, including the ability to understand product concepts and perform basic debugging.
• Experience working with data and metrics to assess performance, explain ROI, and identify actionable conclusions.
• Familiarity with AI workflow tools such as Cursor and ChatGPT; experience with SQL and AI coding assistants such as Claude Code is relevant.
• Background in B2B SaaS or regulated sectors such as mortgage, lending, financial services, or healthcare is valuable.
• Comfort with ambiguity, frequent customer interaction, and end-to-end ownership in a fast-moving environment.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $150,000 to $250,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.

Location

On-site in San Francisco, California. The role requires working from the office four days per week, with Wednesdays remote.
