We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to join a project delivered for the American subsidiary of a global biopharmaceutical company focused on preventing and treating diseases through specialty medicines, vaccines, and advanced research.

You will support the delivery of pharmaceutical R&D platforms and applications, working closely with Product and Program Managers as well as engineering teams. The role focuses on coordinating sprint execution, managing technical dependencies, tracking delivery progress, and ensuring potential risks and blockers are identified and addressed.

This is a delivery-oriented position requiring a combination of strong Agile project management skills and a practical understanding of software engineering environments, cloud platforms, and DevOps practices.

You will be:

coordinating sprint execution and delivery activities across technical teams,

facilitating Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement,

tracking sprint progress, delivery commitments, and team capacity,

managing dependencies between engineering teams and coordinating cross-team delivery,

identifying, tracking, and escalating delivery risks, issues, and blockers,

maintaining project plans, delivery reports, Jira dashboards, and relevant documentation,

providing clear delivery updates and progress visibility to Product Managers, Program Managers, and other stakeholders,

supporting prioritization and alignment between product requirements and engineering delivery,

coordinating technical activities across the SDLC, including development, testing, deployment, and release processes,

working with engineering teams to understand technical constraints, dependencies, and delivery implications,

ensuring effective communication and collaboration across distributed teams.

Your profile:

5+ years of experience in Technical Project Management or a similar technical delivery role,

strong practical knowledge of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and Kanban,

hands-on experience coordinating sprint planning, execution, and delivery,

strong proficiency with Jira, including reporting, dashboards, and delivery tracking,

experience managing dependencies across multiple technical teams,

proven ability to identify and manage project risks, issues, and delivery blockers,

experience communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders,

working understanding of cloud platforms, preferably GCP,

familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps practices,

strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills,

ability to work effectively in complex, cross-functional environments.

Practical experience using AI-powered assistants (e.g. Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to improve productivity, quality, or decision-making in software delivery.

Work from the European Union region and a work permit are required.

Nice to have:

experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP),

previous experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or broader life sciences industry,

experience supporting R&D platforms, research applications, or other regulated technology environments,

experience coordinating delivery across multiple engineering teams or parallel workstreams,

familiarity with cloud-based software delivery and modern engineering practices.

Experience applying GenAI in a more structured way within the SDLC, including defined workflows, prompt patterns, or tool integrations embedded into daily work.

  • Interest in and familiarity with emerging AI-driven practices (e.g. agent-based workflows, automation patterns, AI-augmented development), with a willingness to explore and experiment beyond standard approaches.
