About the Job
DataOne is hiring a DevOps Engineer to build, automate, and maintain the infrastructure and deployment pipelines that support our AI Factories and 24/7 Tier III mission-critical facilities. - Manage and automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, or similar)
- Deploy, operate, and scale containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes
- Monitor system health, performance, and availability using observability tools
- Respond to alerts, outages, and incidents, and lead root cause analysis and remediation
- Partner with software, data, and facilities teams to support GPU and high-performance computing environments
- Implement and maintain security best practices, access controls, and vulnerability management
- Manage cloud and hybrid infrastructure across on-premises and public cloud platforms
- Maintain clear runbooks, technical documentation, and incident reports
- Participate in on-call rotations, disaster recovery testing, and ongoing training
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, systems engineering, or a comparable role
- Hands-on experience with a major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or similar)
- Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong Linux administration and scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar)
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, or similar)
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and system reliability principles
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to respond effectively under pressure
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation
Experience and skills come from many paths. Relevant professional, hands-on, educational, military, trade, and industry experience may all qualify you for this role.
Requirements
Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with energy, power, or facility monitoring systems
What to Expect
- On-site position supporting a 24/7 Tier III mission-critical environment
- Regular collaboration with engineering, operations, security, and facilities teams
- Occasional after-hours work for maintenance windows, deployments, or incident response
- Ongoing learning as our technology and infrastructure evolve
