Stratolaunch's standard text
Stratolaunch accelerates the development of next-generation aerospace and defense technologies through reusable hypersonic flight testing. Our autonomous, air-launched Talon-A vehicles provide access to operationally realistic flight environments at speeds exceeding Mach 5, delivering critical data that helps customers validate system performance and advance technologies toward deployment. Our team brings together expertise in engineering, manufacturing, and flight operations to solve complex challenges and advance capabilities essential to national security.
To help achieve these efforts, Stratolaunch is seeking an Engineering Technician with specialized EMI/EMC experience to support the design, integration, testing, and maintenance of hypersonic vehicles electrical and avionics systems. This role will focus on operating EMI/EMC test equipment and performing various types of EMI testing, including radiated and conducted emissions, as well as immunity tests. You will also create shop definitions, including drawings, wiring diagrams, and work instructions, and serve as a liaison to the shop for installation and modification of aircraft subsystems.
Successful candidates will have an aerospace background and relevant experience in aerospace systems integration and EMI/EMC testing.

- Conduct radiated and conducted emissions and immunity testing per applicable standards (MIL-STD-461, FCC, CISPR, IEC 61000).
- Execute pre-compliance and full compliance EMI/EMC testing to support product development and certification.
- Support other environmental test efforts including thermal, vibration, and shock testing as required.
- Document and analyze test results, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.
Support Avionics and Electrical Systems
- Act as the engineering liaison to troubleshoot electrical, avionics, and EMI/EMC ground test issues.
- Design, manufacture, and operate electrical ground support equipment, including EMI/EMC test setups.
