What does a DevOps Engineer do at PALO IT?

As a DevOps Engineer at PALO IT, you lead and accelerate the next wave of software innovation through the following responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable and efficient cloud infrastructure on AWS.
  • Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for software deployment, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Automate routine tasks using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Monitor and optimize application performance while troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure issues.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to integrate new technologies and promote DevOps best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards and policies within cloud environments.
  • Maintain documentation for infrastructure, systems, and processes.

What experience do you need for this role?

You're a strong fit for this DevOps Engineer role if you have:

  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or a similar role in infrastructure and system administration.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS, as well as networking concepts and container orchestration services such as ECS and EKS..
  • A good grasp of CI/CD pipelines and related tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Certifications in AWS are a plus but not required.
