Position: Sales Engineer - AZ (Req #16928)

• Position summary: Support strategic sales growth by acting as a product knowledge resource, delivering demos to Small and Medium Businesses (SMBs), and assisting Customer Growth and Success teams. Bridge the gap between PrismHR’s products and prospects’ needs, maintain demonstration environments, provide proof points, and create demo content and talk tracks. Collaborate internally and learn new PrismHR and reseller products.
• Essential duties and responsibilities:
• Lead demonstrations of PrismHR products for SMB prospects and for Customer Growth/Success Managers
• Partner with Product Management, Marketing, and Sales to improve processes and provide support
• Create and maintain demo scripts, outlines, and scenarios in sandbox environments
• Maintain and build meaningful demo content for clients, their clients, and internal stakeholders
• Stay current on market conditions and competitor offerings and share insights with internal stakeholders
• Assist with RFPs and other customer documents to prepare effective responses or proposals
• Communications and presentations:
• Be a compelling, confident public speaker with excellent communication skills
• Deliver product presentations remotely and onsite
• Deliver comprehensive, customized demonstrations focused on functional capabilities and business value
• Demonstrate products with a clear focus on value to the prospect
• Marginal functions:
• Build and maintain relationships across teams and disciplines to ensure coordinated services for clients
• Attend webinars and training to stay current on best practices
• Complete projects and other duties as assigned by supervisor
• Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
• Basic understanding of sales processes and strategies
• Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with sales, partners, vendors, and customers
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to develop effective solutions
• Demo2Win or similar certification preferred
• Familiarity with PrismHR platform and target industries (PEO/ASO/HCM, Payroll Service Bureaus, Staffing) preferred
• Prior system implementation experience (PrismHR or competitors) is highly valued
• Required education & experience:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 1+ years of technical solution presentations preferred
• 1+ years of HCM experience (benefits, payroll, recruitment, or time & attendance software) required
• Physical demands:
