Head of IT & Management - Malaysia Digital Bank & Exchange

Responsibilities:
- Take overall responsibility for IT infrastructure, technology development, and operational management of the group’s newly established digital banking and exchange businesses in Malaysia.
- Lead the implementation and development of core technology systems, ensuring infrastructure readiness, system stability, security, and scalability.
- Oversee technology project delivery, including system integration, platform development, and coordination with external technology vendors.
- Work closely with business, compliance, and risk teams to ensure IT systems and operational processes meet relevant regulatory and licensing requirements.
- Establish and optimize operational frameworks, internal processes, and management structures to support the launch and long-term growth of the new businesses.
- Coordinate with senior management and relevant stakeholders in Hong Kong and Malaysia to drive strategic initiatives and business execution.
- Build and manage the technology and operational teams as the business expands.

Pre-requisites:
- Solid experience in IT management, technology leadership, or digital transformation within banking, financial services, or fintech.
- Good understanding of digital banking, exchange platforms, financial technology infrastructure, and related systems.
- Experience in managing IT projects, system implementation, technology operations, and cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements, IT governance, cybersecurity, and risk controls in financial institutions.
- Strong leadership and project management capabilities, with the ability to drive new business initiatives from setup to implementation.
- Experience in Malaysia’s financial services or fintech market is highly preferred.
- Ability and willingness to travel regularly between Hong Kong and Malaysia.
