Key Responsibilities

Design & Execute Test Strategies: Own the quality assurance lifecycle by designing, documenting, and executing comprehensive test plans, test suites, and complex edge-case scenarios across web and mobile platforms.

Validate APIs & Systems: Perform rigorous functional, regression, integration, and RESTful API testing using tools like Postman, Charles Proxy, or Swagger to ensure resilient end-to-end software delivery.

Manage Defects & Root-Cause Analysis: Log, track, and prioritize complex defects in Jira, Zephyr, or TestRail with precise steps to reproduce, partnering directly with developers to drive root-cause resolutions.

Bridge Manual & Automated Testing: Identify repeat testing flows ideal for test automation transition and collaborate with automation engineers to define robust script requirements.

Perform Database & Data Validation: Execute SQL queries to validate backend data integrity, verify state transitions, and ensure system reliability under varying operational conditions.

Elevate Quality Culture: Drive test case reviews, lead risk assessment sessions, and provide technical mentorship to mid-level and junior QA engineers on modern testing methodologies.

What You Bring

Core Experience: 5+ years of dedicated software quality assurance experience with a primary focus on manual testing in fast-paced, client-facing software environments.

QA Methodologies & API Mastery: Deep expertise in functional, regression, boundary, exploratory, and acceptance testing, alongside hands-on proficiency in API testing (Postman, Swagger, Charles Proxy).

Automation Familiarity: Foundational understanding of automation concepts and tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or basic scripting) to effectively identify and bridge manual-to-automated testing workflows.

Tooling & SQL Skills: High proficiency with test management tools (Jira, Zephyr, TestRail) and solid SQL skills for database validation.

Quality Mindset: Strong ownership mentality with exceptional attention to detail, proactive risk detection, and analytical troubleshooting capabilities.

Language Proficiency: Advanced English skills (both written and spoken) are mandatory for direct collaboration with U.S.-based product managers and engineering leaders.
