About the role

About the Role

Join an early-stage industrial R&D software company as its founding PLM Solutions Engineer. You will own the technical narrative in enterprise deals and help shape how emerging product capabilities are positioned and brought to market.

What You'll Do

  • Lead technical discovery and deliver value-driven demonstrations for enterprise PLM opportunities.
  • Own the technical narrative throughout the sales process, aligning product capabilities to customer needs.
  • Develop demo environments, messaging, and go-to-market narratives as new products take shape.
  • Work closely with company leadership and product teams to share customer feedback and influence roadmap and positioning.
  • Help establish the solutions engineering playbook while supporting customers in a developing market.

What We're Looking For

  • Five to eight years of experience in PLM solutions engineering, forward-deployed engineering, or industrial technical sales.
  • Deep expertise in process and/or discrete PLM, with particular strength in process PLM.
  • Experience with PLM software in a vendor, consulting, or manufacturing environment.
  • Hands-on experience with a PLM platform such as Teamcenter, Windchill, 3DEXPERIENCE, Arena, Aras, Propel, or Oracle Agile.
  • A track record of owning discovery, demonstrations, and technical storytelling in enterprise deals.
  • Experience with product data, bills of materials, or engineering change-management workflows is valuable.
  • Comfort working in an early-stage or scale-up environment and traveling three to four days per month, including periodic trips to Europe.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary range: $120,000 to $200,000 USD annually. Equity is available, and visa sponsorship is available.

Remote, with the primary location in the United Kingdom.
