About the role

About the Role

Join a small product team building a cloud infrastructure platform for developers. You will refine key product flows, bring visual details to a high level of craft, and implement polished interfaces alongside frontend engineers. The role offers room to grow into broader ownership of product design.

What You'll Do

  • Improve information architecture and core workflows across a complex SaaS product.
  • Build detailed, production-ready interfaces using React and TypeScript.
  • Polish micro-interactions, including icon animations and loading states.
  • Collaborate with product and frontend engineering on design reviews and implementation.
  • Help establish reusable components and patterns as product surfaces evolve.

What We're Looking For

  • Two to five years of experience as a frontend engineer or design engineer working on SaaS interfaces.
  • Production-grade frontend experience with React and TypeScript, with most of your work focused on shipping code.
  • Experience designing or building complex dashboards, including dense tables and forms, ideally in SaaS or developer tools.
  • A portfolio or work sample that demonstrates strong visual craft, attention to detail, and thoughtful micro-interactions.
  • Experience collaborating with product and engineering teams at design-forward organizations.
  • Familiarity with Figma, sound design judgment, and an interest in reusable systems and components.
  • Willingness to work in person five days a week in New York City.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $220,000 to $280,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
