Key Responsibilities

  • Validate Complex System Integrations & Routing: Own end-to-end and functional verification of critical operational workflows, ensuring customer-assigned routes and logistics data flow seamlessly across merged application ecosystems and third-party endpoints.
  • Triage & Resolve Hub Technical Inquiries: Act as the primary technical point of contact to investigate, reproduce, and root-cause system errors, edge cases, and field-reported issues originating from logistics and operations hub teams.
  • Identify Platform Gaps & Lead Process Documentation: Perform comprehensive exploratory and functional QA audits across the platform, mapping out functional deficiencies, drafting robust test plans/technical documentation, and articulating actionable improvement strategies.
  • Architect Scalable Backend & API Automation: Design, build, and maintain robust API and backend test automation suites (targeting REST/gRPC microservices) while sustaining a strategic 50% automation to 50% functional/exploratory split.
  • Execute Deep Data Assertions: Write and execute advanced SQL scripts across multi-service databases to validate routing state changes, verify message integrity, and audit data sync workflows between integrated platforms.
  • Drive Shift-Left Quality & CI/CD Integration: Integrate test pipelines into modern CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) and actively collaborate with developers to propose flow optimizations and identify high-value automation opportunities.

What You Bring

  • 5+ Years of Dedicated QA Experience: Proven track record in software quality engineering, demonstrating deep technical competency across functional system analysis, API/backend validation, and automated framework design.
  • Strong Backend & API Automation Toolkit: Hands-on expertise automating services using tools and frameworks such as PyTest, REST Assured, Playwright, Karate, or Postman, with proficiency in at least one modern language (Python, TypeScript, Java, or C#).
  • Advanced Database & Querying Skills: Solid proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL) to audit complex transactions, verify data pipeline transformations, and validate multi-system data flows.
  • Functional Discovery & Problem-Solving Ownership: Demonstrated ability to dissect complex distributed systems, translate operational support issues (such as field hub escalations) into reproducible test artifacts, and communicate platform gaps with clarity.
  • Bilingual Communication & Autonomy: Advanced verbal and written English proficiency (C1 minimum) for seamless collaboration with U.S. engineering stakeholders, cross-functional delivery PODs, and distributed operations teams.
