About the Role

Join an AI team building automation for the insurance industry. This hands-on, customer-facing engineering role combines technical scoping with rapid implementation, turning customer workflows into AI solutions that can be incorporated into a scalable platform.

What You'll Do

  • Own enterprise implementations from requirements gathering through deployment.
  • Build and ship AI agents and automations, often within the same week as customer conversations.
  • Work with customers after the sale to understand business problems and scope technical solutions.
  • Bring successful customer-specific solutions back into the platform.
  • Partner with product and engineering teams to turn customer insights into scalable features.

What We're Looking For

  • Three to six years of software engineering experience in forward deployed, implementation, solutions, or product engineering roles.
  • Experience writing and shipping production code for enterprise customers, with a balance of hands-on coding and customer-facing scoping.
  • Full-stack proficiency and experience with Python and/or TypeScript.
  • Comfort communicating with customers and switching between requirements gathering and focused engineering work.
  • Startup experience, including experience at a venture-backed company.
  • Strong technical fundamentals and a track record of ownership.
  • Experience deploying AI or agentic workflows, or integrating LLM automation pipelines, is a plus. Insurance or financial services experience is also beneficial.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $180,000 to $300,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.

On-site in San Francisco, California.
