About the role

About the Role

Own product development end to end at an early-stage SaaS company serving merchants. You will identify customer problems, make product decisions, build polished solutions, and ship improvements directly to production.

What You'll Do

  • Take features from problem definition through implementation and production, working across frontend and backend as needed.
  • Speak with customers, review session replays, and use firsthand feedback to understand their needs.
  • Make product and interaction decisions, often owning the thinking behind a user flow.
  • Build thoughtful, high-quality interfaces with strong attention to product craft.
  • Maintain a clear, robust codebase that supports a growing engineering team.

What We're Looking For

  • Four to eight years of product engineering experience, including shipping and owning features from problem definition to production without relying on a handed-down specification.
  • Hands-on experience with TypeScript, React, and Node.js, and ownership of both frontend and backend work.
  • Strong computer science fundamentals, typically demonstrated through a CS degree.
  • Experience at a growth-stage startup, ideally one backed by venture capital, and a track record of strong engineering standards.
  • Examples of thoughtful product and interface craft, plus experience with AI-assisted development tools.
  • E-commerce or commerce platform experience is useful. A founder background is also valued.
  • Must be able to work without visa sponsorship.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary is $150,000 to $350,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.
