About the role

About the Role

Join an early-stage industrial AI team building wearable AI products for field technicians. You will own the product layer around the AI core, connecting smart glasses, cloud services, and companion applications into a reliable end-to-end experience.

What You'll Do

  • Build the full product experience across smart glasses, backend services, and companion applications.
  • Develop cloud infrastructure for real-time video ingestion, APIs, and storage.
  • Own reliable, observable backend APIs and data services used by devices and AI systems.
  • Create mobile and desktop tools for setup, monitoring, and workflow configuration.
  • Establish deployment and release processes for safely delivering software to devices in the field.
  • Set early architectural choices and engineering practices that support product growth.
  • Debug issues across frontend, backend, and device integrations.

What We're Looking For

  • Two to five years of post-graduate software engineering experience, ideally including early-stage startup work.
  • Experience building and shipping a product end to end, including backend, APIs, data, and a user-facing frontend or mobile client.
  • Strong full-stack skills with technologies such as TypeScript, Python, React, React Native, Node.js, AWS, GCP, Supabase, PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, and REST APIs.
  • Ability to make sound architectural decisions and build scalable systems from an early stage.
  • Experience with real-time video, streaming, low-latency systems, AI product integrations, or mobile applications is valuable.
  • Strong product and UX judgment, with a builder mindset and experience shipping software in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $180,000 to $240,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
