About the role

About the Role

Join a cybersecurity solutions engineering team supporting digital-native and mid-market customers. You will lead the technical side of sales engagements, helping organizations integrate application security into their development workflows.

What You'll Do

  • Become an expert in the application security platform and integrate it into customer CI/CD pipelines, developer workflows, and security programs.
  • Lead technical discovery, diagnose customer challenges, and advise on solution design.
  • Own proof-of-value engagements from success criteria through environment configuration and technical outcomes.
  • Write or adapt rules to identify vulnerabilities and demonstrate the platform's capabilities.
  • Explain technical differentiation to security engineers, DevOps teams, and executives.
  • Improve demos, automation, and educational resources to reduce friction for customers.
  • Partner with account executives on complex sales cycles and contribute to team processes and enablement.

What We're Looking For

  • Two to five years of pre-sales engineering experience in enterprise SaaS, ideally in security or adjacent technical areas such as DevOps, CI/CD, monitoring, or developer tools.
  • Experience selling complex technical products to large organizations and communicating with security engineers, DevOps teams, and technical leaders.
  • A computer science degree, prior engineering experience, and strong technical fundamentals across technology stacks.
  • Understanding of developer workflows and build systems, including CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab, CircleCI, Jenkins, or Buildkite.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $147,000 to $175,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Location

Remote within the United States, with up to 20% travel for customer meetings, events, conferences, and company events.
