We are looking for a skilled and experienced Android Mobile App Developer with strong expertise in React Native to join our engineering team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have 3–6 years of experience in developing, building, and maintaining high-performance mobile applications, with a strong understanding of Android development and cross-platform mobile technologies.

You will be responsible for designing and developing scalable, user-friendly, and reliable mobile applications while collaborating with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and other stakeholders. Candidates with experience working in software product companies or internet-based businesses will be preferred.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications using React Native, with a primary focus on Android platforms.
  • Build responsive, scalable, and performance-oriented mobile application features.
  • Translate UI/UX designs and product requirements into functional, user-friendly mobile interfaces.
  • Develop reusable components and maintain clean, efficient, and well-structured code.
  • Integrate RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and backend services into mobile applications.
  • Work closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend developers to deliver seamless mobile experiences.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application bugs, performance bottlenecks, and compatibility issues.
  • Optimize applications for speed, responsiveness, memory usage, and overall performance.
  • Implement secure authentication, data storage, push notifications, and other essential mobile application functionalities.
  • Conduct application testing, debugging, and code reviews to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Manage application releases, updates, and deployments on the Google Play Store.
  • Stay updated with emerging mobile development technologies, React Native updates, and Android ecosystem advancements.

Must-Have Skills

  • 3–6 years of hands-on experience in mobile application development.
  • Strong proficiency in React Native and experience building production-grade mobile applications.
  • Solid understanding of Android mobile application development and its architecture.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
  • Experience integrating REST APIs, third-party SDKs, and backend services.
  • Good understanding of mobile application lifecycle, navigation, state management, and debugging.
  • Experience with Git, code versioning, and collaborative development workflows.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
  • Understanding of mobile application performance optimization and security best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in software product companies, internet companies, or high-growth technology startups.
  • Experience publishing and maintaining applications on the Google Play Store.
  • Familiarity with native Android development using Kotlin or Java.
  • Experience with Firebase, push notifications, analytics, and crash reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and mobile application testing frameworks.
  • Experience handling large-scale applications with significant user traffic.
