We are looking for an experienced Senior Frontend Developer with 8+ years of experience in building scalable, high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in JavaScript, React, Angular, HTML, and CSS, along with experience developing responsive and user-friendly frontend solutions.

You will work closely with product owners, backend developers, and other engineering teams to build and enhance web applications, translate business requirements into technical solutions, and ensure high standards of code quality and performance.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality frontend features for web applications.
  • Build reusable, scalable, and high-performance user interfaces using JavaScript, React, Angular, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Understand business requirements and convert them into technical designs and frontend solutions.
  • Collaborate with backend teams to define API contracts and integrate frontend applications with backend services.
  • Write and maintain unit tests and ensure good code coverage.
  • Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture planning.
  • Identify and resolve bugs, production issues, and application performance problems.
  • Follow responsive design, accessibility, web standards, and cross-browser compatibility practices.
  • Improve existing development processes, tools, and coding standards.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in frontend or web application development.
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript, ES6+, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Hands-on experience with React, Angular, or similar JavaScript frameworks.
  • Experience building high-traffic and performance-driven web applications.
  • Understanding of reusable components, modular architecture, and software design patterns.
  • Experience with unit testing and test-driven development.
  • Familiarity with CSS preprocessors such as Sass, Less, or PostCSS.
  • Strong understanding of responsive and adaptive web design.
  • Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and core computer science concepts.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Good-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with frontend build tools such as Webpack, Gulp, or Grunt.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Travis CI.
  • Knowledge of server-side rendering (SSR), caching, and web performance optimisation.
  • Understanding of web accessibility standards such as WCAG.
  • Experience working on large-scale e-commerce or high-traffic consumer-facing websites.
