We are looking for a highly skilled and hands-on Staff Engineer with 6–8 years of software engineering experience and strong expertise in React.js and backend development. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in Golang, with Java experience also considered.

In this role, you will take ownership of designing, architecting, and building core engineering systems while writing scalable, reliable, and production-grade code. You will drive critical technical initiatives end to end, contribute to architectural decisions, and help establish strong engineering practices.

This is a high-impact individual-contributor opportunity offering significant technical ownership and close collaboration with the founding team.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, architect, and develop core software systems and scalable applications.
  • Build responsive and high-performance frontend applications using React.js.
  • Develop robust backend services and APIs using Golang or Java.
  • Write clean, maintainable, efficient, and production-ready code.
  • Take end-to-end ownership of engineering initiatives, from technical design and implementation to deployment and ongoing improvements.
  • Drive architectural decisions and contribute to building reliable and scalable technology solutions.
  • Identify technical challenges, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement effective solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with the founding team and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Maintain high standards of code quality, performance, security, and engineering excellence.

Required Qualifications

  • 6–8 years of hands-on software engineering experience.
  • Strong expertise in React.js and modern frontend development.
  • Strong backend development experience, preferably with Golang; Java experience is also acceptable.
  • Solid understanding of software architecture, system design, and scalable application development.
  • Experience building and maintaining production-grade software systems.
  • Ability to independently own complex technical projects and deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
